Most likely you are a healer, here to help the world in some special ways.

You’re not here to be run over by it.

I’ve been there… traumatized, brutalized, trainwrecked by what those around me are going through.

I wondered at one point whether being an empath was a gift or a curse, or both!

And then I decided to get jiggy with it.

If it was a gift, then it could be controlled, just like having excellent hearing, discerning tastebuds, seeing more colors than most.

And yup, I’ve got those, too.  Do you?

Those things didn’t hold me back in life; they helped, and I bet your sensitivities help you, too.

The time I was overcome by grief for someone I barely knew while I was trying to comfort his brother was the turning point for me.  I didn’t know about being empathic, but I decided I had to find out what had just happened.  It wasn’t the first time I had experienced emotions that didn’t make sense.  So I looked back through the other times it had happened, and I started to realize it happened alot.  Like almost every day.  Just to a lesser extent with less-impactful situations.

If they were someone else’s feelings, then that meant I could block them out!

I searched high and low for easy, quick, simple, profoundly effective techniques that didn’t require sitting on the peak of Everest to learn and master.  Things that I could do while someone was looking at me without them realizing what I was doing.

I didn’t want to squelch my abilities, I wanted to enhance and employ them.

All of the tools in this first-aid kit for empaths are simple and direct and can be applied immediately.

But like physical healing, you can’t just keep slapping on band-aids and expect to be fully whole and healthy.  Get through an immediate emergency, and then remove toxins, provide nutrients in a healthy, safe environment.

In other words, do the deep work, too.  That means healing your inner wounds, the ones that are really yours.  Work on healthy boundaries and all the things that go into being safe to set and keep them.

All of this is the ingredients that make the marvelous dish of you!

You deserve to feel good, to be happy and healthy.

If you can experience other people’s pain and heartache, you can also ride the waves of joy, exhilaration, and peace. When you control your empathicness, you can hang out in a party, bar, club, concert, and experience all the fun, and you can feel when that shifts and it’s time to go.  No need to drink or do drugs.

In fact, I highly recommend that you don’t do any substances that mess with your brain chemistry.

That’s very delicate stuff which can re-balance itself once toxins are removed.  But also, things like drugs and booze, even the wrong foods and toxic situations break down your healthy spiritual bubble and expose you to the elements, so to speak.

They make you vulnerable to spiritual attack, not just feeling someone else’s feelings.  And those attacks can play your emotions and body like a fiddle, and they are not there for your benefit.  They are specifically designed to torture you.

You don’t want that!

Use the immediate tools and the empowerment tools, and over time you will clear and build a healthy spiritual body and protection and abilities.

If someone is telling you that being an empath is a pathological response to trauma, ask yourself why they want you to stop being sensitive.

I guarantee their tune and tone will get harsher and more angry if you bring it up with them.  Your being sensitive and aware is inconvenient for them. You’ll catch on to their manipulations and selfishness and move on.

Being empathic is a gift and you can use it to help yourself and others.  What is required is not that you be less sensitive, but that you learn to distinguish between your own feelings and those of others.  That requires having good energetic boundaries.  You can put those boundaries up and take them down, or lessen them.  You should really have good boundaries/shields up at all times, unless you specifically take them down.  It’s like being a pilot.  You don’t have to fly at all times just because you can.  In fact, it’s better to do so just when you consciously command it and when you’re in a safe vehicle for the activity.

With the Empath’s Aid Kit, you’ll learn and employ some gentle yet powerful healing and protection tools that you can continue to use for the rest of your life.

They’ll help you to gain insight, clarity, strength, balance, joy, and control over your empathic gifts.

One of the things that we lose in an abusive situation is control.

You may have had physical wounds, and most definitely emotional and spiritual wounds. These exercises will help you to repair in ways that are complementary to medicine and therapy.
