We lost a HUGE "Christmas" tree at the end of the house. It fell all the way over, landing parallel to the house, but miraculously not damaging much of anything.

Book club was postponed since we were all out of electricity, and managing households on fireplace heat and generators isn't too conducive to having company over. I know why people had servants back in the old days! Cooking supper over the fireplace takes hours!

As I write this, we're having another windy storm, although about half the intensity of the last one. We lost power last night, too, but it came on in the middle of the night.
